Detailed Itinerary of 10 Days Gorilla Trekking & Masai Mara Safari
Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe
On arrival at Entebbe International Airport you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and be transferred to your hotel in Entebbe. Spend the rest of the day at rest, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Fly Entebbe – Kihihi – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, meet your driver guide and be transferred to Entebbe International Airport for your domestic flight to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park – home to half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. Upon landing, you will be met by our representative and be driven to your hotel where you will spend the afternoon at rest.
Later, head out for a walk through the local community, meet and interact with the locals among others. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest
Wake up early for breakfast at the lodge, meet your driver and head to the park headquarters for briefing about gorilla trekking, before stepping into the park led by researchers and guides in search for mountain gorillas. Trek takes you through the dense jungle, slippery trails and it takes approximately 3-5 hours or more with one hour of being in presence of the gorillas. Watch them play, fed and groom each other as well as taking pictures and videos.
Afterwards, return to your lodge where you will spend the rest of the day at rest. Alternatively you can arrange a visit to one of the nearby villages.

Day 4: Second Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest
Today you return to Bwindi Forest to track another gorilla family, just like the previous day you will have a briefing and then head into the forest in search for a gorilla family. Today’s gorilla trekking experience takes you to a different sector of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park where you will meet a different gorilla family, giving you an opportunity to visit and witness the dynamics of the gorilla families.
Spend the afternoon at rest or visit the Batwa Community for a cultural experience.

Day 5: Journey back to Kampala
After your Bwindi Gorilla Trekking Safari, you will check out of the lodge after your leisurely breakfast and drive back to Kampala with a stop in Mbarara for lunch and another in Kayabwe for pictures.
Arrive in Entebbe in the evening, then be dropped off at the hotel in Entebbe for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Fly to Nairobi and Journey to Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Entebbe International Airport for your flight to Nairobi. Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our guide and be transferred to Wilson Airport for your domestic flight to Masai Mara National Reserve.
On arrival you will be transferred to your safari lodge for lunch with a short game drive. Enjoy a short rest and in late afternoon, return to the reserve for a game drive.

Day 7-9: Masai Mara Safari
On these three days, you will explore the vast Masai Mara National Reserve the most popular safari destination in Kenya as well as Africa. On your Masai Mara Safari you will take park game drives (morning and afternoon game drives) on which you will see several animals including lions, leopards, wildebeests, gazelles, giraffes, elands, antelopes among others. A Hot air balloon safari for aerial views of vast Masai Mara Plains as well as animals.

Day 10: Departure
After your incredibly thrilling Masai Mara Safari, you will bid farewell to your lodge as well as Masai Mara National Reserve, be transferred to the airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi’s Wilson Airport where you will meet our representative and be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight back home or to your next destination.
